Holt Football Summer Workout Plan

Guidelines

  • Everyone who is present at a workout will have to answer a pre-screening questionnaire before they participate. This includes coaches as well. The questionnaire will ask:

    • Name

    • If you have had in the last 48 hours

      • Fever

      • Cough

      • Sore Throat

      • Shortness of Breath

      • Contact with or cared for someone with COVID-19

    • Current Temperature

      • Temperature will be taken by a coach at the workout

    • All questionnaires will be answered on a coach’s cell phone.

    • This is to track attendance and keep others safe from possible spread.

  • All people must keep a distance of 6ft apart at ALL times. 

  • Everyone MUST bring their own water. Absolutely NO water can be shared. 

  • No one will be allowed inside of any buildings.



 

Workouts

 

  • Workouts will hopefully start June 15th. Workouts will begin at 10am for about an hour.  

    • We need the final ok from Dr. Hornak which we expect to get. If we do not, we will postpone until the ok is given.

  • We will start with Varsity only.

    • We will do this to work the kinks out with these new procedures for safety. We want to make sure we are really following all the safety guidelines correctly before having too big of groups. Once we think we have it running smoothly, we will invite lower levels to join. 

  • Please bring your own water and workout shoes (sneakers and cleats). We will not use helmets as we will not be within 6ft of anyone the entire time. 

  • Workouts will take place Mondays and Wednesdays from 10-11:15ish. 

    • Please allow for a little bit of time we may go over as we work out the new procedures. 



 

Google Meets

  • Google Meets will happen every Tuesday and Thursday starting on June 16th

    • We will Meet even if workouts do not start on June 15. 

  • Google Meet Schedule is as follows:

 

Tuesdays - Offense

“Strong” guys ( OL, FBs, TEs, QBs)

10:00 - 10:45

“Fast” guys  (RBs, WRs, TEs, and QBs)

11:00 - 11:45

   

Thursdays - Both Offense and Defense

Defensive Line

10:00 -10:30

Linebackers

10:40 - 11:10

Defensive Backs

11:20 - 11:50

Offensive “Fast” guys  (RBs, WRs, TEs, and QBs)

12:00 - 12:45

 

  • We will use Google Meet for all virtual meetings. Use the nickname holtfootball to enter the meeting. 

  • When in the meeting, use proper etiquette. 

    • Leave cameras on if possible

    • Have a sheet of paper and something to write with. TAKE NOTES!

    • Mute your mic. There will probably be a lot of people in the chat. Feel free to ask questions. If possible, use the chat feature to ask questions. 

  • You are only responsible to attend the times that are for your position. If you would like to join for others, you are welcome to.
