OVID-ELSIE HIGH SCHOOL: 4
Holt had another strong CAAC showing last night against Ovid/St. Johns! Winning 14-4, the top offensive contributers were Maddie Nowak with 4 goals and 1 assist, Gianna Edgerly with 3 goals and 2 forced turnovers, Lauren Johnson with 3 goals and 2 assists, Emma Netzel with 2 goals and 1 assist, Ryan Vandlen with 2 goals, and Bre Cornelius with 1 goal. Offense worked hard to control the pace of the game. Defensive top contributers were Jada Price-WIlliams with 3 forced turnovers, Bre Cornelius with 2 forced turnovers, and Lucy Carter with 2 forced turnovers. Goalie Anastasia Brigman had a strong showing, only letting in 4 goals from 1v1 shots. Players are preparing for a non-conference game against Grand Haven (4/21), and two more conference games at home next week!
