Holt Varsity Girls Lacrosse is at 3-0 to start the season, winning a tight contest in our first CAAC match up last night against East Lansing!
Leading goal scorer Gianna Edgerly scored 4 goals, Emma Netzel scored 2, and Katie Czewski and Maddie Nowak each scored one. Additionally, Maddie had 2 assists, Ryan Vandlen, Hadlei Olson, and Gianna Edgerly had 1 assist each!
Goalie Anastasia Brigman had 13 saves, many of which we free shots on goal. Defenders Jenny Nguyen, Jada Price-Williams, Taylor Peterson, and Bre Cornelius also had exemplary nights, leading our defense in their efforts to stop scoring opportunities and force turnovers.
Holt won against East Lansing with a final score of 8-7!
