DEWITT HIGH SCHOOL: 49
The Holt Boys JV Basketball team won a thriller 51-49 on Thursday night against CAAC Blue foe DeWitt to move to 7-2 on the season. Brandon Garrett-Lewis broke a tie game with 12 seconds remaining by hitting a clutch free throw. The Rams followed the make with a great defensive stop on the next possession keyed by all five of the players on the court which included: Garrett-Lewis, Logan Coon, Holden Fedewa, Brennan Beottcher and Ethan Johnson. The Rams were led by Aaron Carter III with a season high 22 points and 6 assists. The Rams travel to Waverly on Monday for another CAAC Blue matchup.
